A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away...

And so, with these words, it began--the greatest science fiction story of a generation. But Star Wars isn't just about spaceships and laser guns. It is a fantasy, a mythology--a fairytale for an age that had none. It captured the imaginations and hearts of millions, and now, with the release of the Prequel Trilogy, it is doing so for a new generation of fans.

Star Wars is the story of Anakin Skywalker; his rise, fall and eventual redemption through the agency of his son Luke.

Both these men cared deeply for their loved ones; the loss of those he loved was a contributing factor to Anakin's fall, but in the end it was Luke's sacrificial love for his father that brought Anakin back from the Dark Side.

The saga of Star Wars is that of the Skywalker family; and that is what this site is created to celebrate.
